All Camps are for all skill levels! In all of our Volleyball Alberta Summer Camps, groups are split up based on skill level to ensure all athletes could grow together and their skills tested. All demos, warm ups, recreational acitivies etc are done both as an entire camp and in their skill groups.

Registration: … Registrations will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. Register early as summer camps may fill fast!  

All camps will have a participant minimum and maximum with a coach to participant ratio of 1 coach to 5 participants. If the registration reaches maximum capacity, a waitlist will open. When spots open, Volleyball Alberta will invite participants from the waitlist to register on a sequential priority basis.

2023 Camp Fees

Sylvan Lake Volleyball Camp, Overnight Camper – $950+Tax+service fee   (Checkout total: $1,028.92)

  • Includes sleeping arrangements for the entirety of the camp with floor matresses
  • Many Showers and bathrooms located throughout the facility
  • Beach and Grass Courts booked all week! A wonderful mix of both!
  • Includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Night Time Snack

Sylvan Lake Volleyball Camp, Day Camper – $700+Tax+service fee (Checkout total: $758.29)

  • Lunch is INCLUDED.
  • Beach and Grass Courts booked all week! A wonderful mix of both!
  • Does not include room & board, Breakfast or Dinner. Please contact for other food arrangements.

Edmonton Volleyball Camps – $500+Tax+service fee (Checkout total: $541.78)

  • Indoor Volleyball, and exploring options to have a half or full day on the beach courts!
  • No meals included, a 1 hour lunch hour will be given to athletes, supervised.

Refund Policy – A full refund (less a $35.00 administration fee) will be granted to any person withdrawing from the camp prior to June 18th.  A refund of $200.00 will be granted to any person withdrawing from the camp prior to June 30.  After June 30 no refunds will be granted except in the case of injury with physician documentation, family crisis, or selection to a Volleyball Alberta High Performance program. During camp, a refund of $75.00 per day missed will be given to live-in campers who leave due to injury or illness. No refund will be provided should they choose to remain at camp for the duration of the week. Sportlomo Service Fee is Non-Refundable (as it goes directly to Sportlomo).

Summer Camp Coaches and Mentors

Coaching Staff – The coaching staff for Volleyball Alberta Summer Camps consist of experienced University, College, and National Team coaches and players from within Canada, in addition to some International representatives.  For example, Yuzo Fukuhara (International -Tsukuba University, Japan), Clement Lemeiux (Former Head Coach, Men’s National Team), Young-Sun Lee (1984 Korean Olympian and professional player), and Fumitoshi Tokunaga (International, Budo University, Japan) have coached at Volleyball Alberta summer camps.

Camp Information

Sylvan Lake Volleyball Camp (SLVC) 2023

Mock Schedule: (Subject to Change): SLVC Week Schedule

Week 1: July 17-23 in the beautiful town of Sylvan Lake, Alberta having the opportunity to play Grass, Beach, and Indoor Volleyball! An overnight camp for anyone ages 12-16 who wants to learn deeper about the sport, enhance their skills or have an amazing Volleyball Camp experience in one of the best towns in Alberta! This overnight camp includes accommodation, 3 meals a day, snacks, a 5:1 ratio of amazing coaches to athletes and so much more! Please check out our camps page for more information and pricing! 

The Sylvan Lake Volleyball Camp is a developmental camp spanning from Sunday to Sunday with an emphasis on the basic skills and fitness levels for all athletes. The days are split between grass sessions, indoor sessions & a couple of days at the beach! Daily schedules contains approximately 5 hours of on-court instruction and 2 hours of game play. Both the indoor game and the beach game will be covered. 

All Camps are for all skill levels! In all of our Volleyball Alberta Summer Camps, groups are split up based on skill level to ensure all athletes could grow together and their skills tested. All demos, warm ups, recreational acitivies etc are done both as an entire camp and in their skill groups. 

Facilities – The Sylvan Lake Volleyball Camp takes place primarily outdoors on grass & sand courts at the pier with some indoor sessions. You will have ample time to take in the sights and sounds of one of Alberta’s premiere resort towns. The camp provides each live-in athlete with: a dining area, 3 full meals per day prepared by cooks, shower facilities, indoor & outdoor courts, lecture rooms, an athletic trainer and support staff.

Recreational Activities – A weekday will be the Camp’s activity day. Athletes are encouraged to participate in recreational activities. The recreational activities are not included in the price of the camp. All activities are supervised. Exact recreational acitivies will be announced soon.

Pre-Camp Information – Once you are registered for the camp, further details with regards to clothing, supplies and scheduling details will be e-mailed to you (usually in mid-June for SLVC).

Edmonton Volleyball Camp 2023

Week 2: August 7-11 at the Saville Centre in Edmonton, Alberta! For the 3rd year in a row Volleyball Alberta is having our Edmonton Volleyball Camp! This 4-day camp  (8am-4pm) is jam packed with detailed sessions to improve all skills and transferring those skills into gameplay, amazing Camp Activities to get to know your peers on another level and a 5:1 coach ratio to ensure everyone gets the focus they need to better their skills and find even more reasons why they love the sport of Volleyball! Jasper Volleyball Camp (JVC) – Not Operating in 2023

Facilities in Jasper that we use are either under construction or will not allow rentals this summer. Volleyball Alberta’s goal is to be back in Jasper for JVC Camps in 2024!!

Located in the majestic Rocky Mountains in the Jasper National Park town-site, JVC provides the best scenery for a summer camp. This developmental camp spans 6 days with an emphasis on the basic skills and fitness levels for all athletes. Each day is scheduled with approximately 6 hours of on-court instruction, 3 hours of game play, fitness activities, and classroom lectures. 

Facilities – JVC takes place outdoors where you can absorb the breathtaking beauty of the incredible Rocky Mountains. The camp is based around the Jasper Activity Centre, the Jasper High School, and the Jasper Elementary School. The camp provides each live-in athlete with: a dining area, 3 full meals per day prepared by professional cooks, shower facilities, indoor & outdoor courts, lecture rooms, an athletic trainer and support staff.

**Detailed Information packages will be mailed out to registrants 2 weeks prior to Camps commencement.
