Financial Assistance

Below is a list of scholarships, grants, and programs of which athletes may access or be eligible:

KidSport Alberta  
Volleyball Alberta has partnered with KidSport Alberta to increase opportunities for kids in families facing financial barriers to access volleyball programs across Alberta. This partnership provides an additional $300 in funding for indoor club athletes participating with VA registered member clubs whose program fees exceed $1,200.

Individual Child Grants for eligible families may be available for those that qualify. Please CLICK HERE to learn more.

Hugh Hoyles Scholarship
The Scholarship is intended for athletes who may not otherwise be able to participate in a Team Alberta program (indoor or beach) due to their family’s financial situation. To apply, complete the Application Form
Applicants can receive up to $750 in funding to help subsidize the cost of participation with Team Alberta.
