Volleyball Alberta staff support the day-to-day operations of the association, including membership services, events, communications, athlete development, and administration. Positions may be full-time, part-time, or contract-based.
VA is seeking qualified individual, to be based out of the Edmonton office, for a full-time position of Coordinator. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the implementation, and management of all activities relating to our indoor and outdoor age class program; the organization of summer staff, contract staff, and volunteers. Rocky Mountain Mavericks Volleyball Club is seeking passionate coaching staff who can bring high-level technical skills, playing experience, and strong mentorship to our 18U girls.
We provide competitive compensation for our coaching staff. Our season runs from December to mid-May, with practices held at the Cavalry FC Regional Field House in Aldersyde (typically Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings)- 5:00 07:00 PM or 7:00 – 9:00 PM.
Our goal is to bring in coaches who have post-secondary playing experience, excellent technical breakdown skills, and a strong ability to teach great defense.
Referee roles support competitions across the province at various levels. Volleyball Alberta provides pathways for new referees as well as opportunities for experienced officials to continue their development.
