Volleyball Alberta will be temporarily offering free-of-charge* day-camp programing in the following locations:

Who: Athletes ages 8-14 years.
When: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM on October 15th and October 17th, respectively.
Where: Raise Athletics: 9 Richardson Drive, St Albert, AB. T8N 7W4
VEGREVILLE
Who: Athletes ages 8-12 years.
When: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM on October 20, 2025
Where: Vegreville Centennial Library/Gymnasium: 4709 50 Street, Vegreville, AB. T9C 1R1
These one-day sessions will be a combination of skill development, games and fun activities.
Spots are limited so make sure you secure your place by registering as soon as possible.

To successfully register you must first purchase a membership for the participant, create an account on VRS-Sportlomo, and then purchase the program registration.
The required membership for GO Sports is the: 2026 Youth Recreational Player – Indoor Membership. Volleyball Alberta’s membership year is September 1 to August 31 of each year.

Cancellation Deadline is before noon a week before the start date of the program
Cancellations prior to the deadline will be processed less a $35 Administrative Fee.
Cancellations on or after the deadline are non-refundable.
If a participant cannot participate for a particular session, no refunds will be offered.
If cancelled by Volleyball Alberta and the session cannot be rescheduled for later days, VA will refund participants the variable costs of the program onto the original method of payment*.
Registrations will be on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Registrations will be done online on the Volleyball Registration System (VRS) powered by SportLoMo.
Volleyball Alberta requires Players, Coaches, Referees, and Club Staff to become members prior to registering for any of our programs and events. Membership fees include a Volleyball Alberta and Volleyball Canada component.

All of our memberships are upgradable, meaning already paid membership fees will discount if upgrading from indoor to beach or from program to program in the same season. Memberships are non-refundable.
What to bring for GO Sports Volleyball Programs:
Water bottle – Staying hydrated is important!
Indoor gym shoes – Non-marking soles are recommended for traction and safety. If it’s an outdoor program please, wear to appropriate shoes outside.
Athletic clothing – Comfortable, breathable attire similar to what’s worn in school gym class (e.g., t-shirt and athletic shorts or leggings). For outdoor programs, please dress accordingly for the weather.
Cultural or modest attire – long-sleeves, full-length skirts, or sports hijabs are welcome as long as they allow for movement and comfort.
Knee pads (optional) – Helps protect against floor impact when diving or kneeling.
Hair tied back – If applicable, securing hair in a ponytail, braid, or under a sports hijab can help with comfort and visibility.

Come join us this fall for a day of volleyball! Smashfest is a day that is dedicated to introducing (or re-introducing) kids ages 8-11 the game of volleyball. The day will include some skills training along with mini tournaments for fun and friendly competition.

Mini-Volley is an introductory program for children between the ages of 6-8 to the sport of volleyball.
This program provides game like activities (PLAY), ensures that participants stay active (FUN) and allows them to experience success while focusing on the development of fundamental movement patterns.
This program emphasizes the importance of developing physical literacy in children which will allow them to gain the competence and confidence they need to participate in a wide variety of physical activities.

This program is for individuals who have completed the Atomic programs and are ready to transition into Tripleball gameplay which is the official competition format for all Canadian regions offering 13U & 12U age class competitions. The goal of Tripleball is to promote better skill acquisition & development, participation, meaningful competition, and fun. Sessions each week will be a combination of Skill Development & Tripleball gameplay.

GO League is for athletes between the ages of 14-18 years. There are two sessions each week, one session will focus on skill acquisition and development while the second session will be game based. The GO League will provide participants with a non-competitive, recreational environment to work on fundamental systems, strategies, and team play.
* The GO League Wednesday/Sunday program is NOT where participants play against other leagues but develop within the program and play against each other on alternating sessions.
