Volleyball Alberta Announces 2025 Hall of Fame Inductees

Two outstanding leaders in our volleyball community are being called to the Volleyball Alberta Hall of Fame as the Class of 2025.

This year’s inductees include:

Ken Briggs – Coach
Scott McLean – Referee

We are honoured to welcome Ken Briggs and Scott McLean to the VA Hall of Fame.

The VA Hall of Fame awards are presented annually to recognize outstanding achievements in Volleyball Alberta. The awards are presented in the following 5 categories: Athlete, Builder, Coach, Team and Referee. The 21st Annual Mikasa Achievement Awards & Hall of Fame Banquet will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, in Calgary. We invite all past Hall of Fame inductees, members of our Volleyball Alberta community, and Symposium attendees to join us as we celebrate the newest Hall of Fame inductees and recognize the award winners from the 2024 Beach season and the 2025 Indoor season.

This year’s banquet follows the “Digging Deeper: 2025 Volleyball Alberta Symposium,” a two-day event bringing together coaches, referees, and members of our volleyball community to learn, connect, and advance the sport. We look forward to uniting our community for a meaningful weekend of shared knowledge, professional excellence, and distinguished recognition.

We hope to see many of you there—to celebrate, to reconnect, and to honour the people and moments that continue to shape Volleyball in Alberta.
