July 25, 2023: September 16 – 24, 2023 marks the nineth annual National Coaches Week. It is a time to celebrate the positive impact coaches have on athletes and their communities across Canada. The annual campaign is an opportunity to recognize coaches for the integral role they play by saying #ThanksCoach.
Sport Organizations are encouraged to join in the National Coaches Week celebration and follow all of the social media action on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using the hashtags #CoachesWeek and #ThanksCoach. Be sure to tag #AbSport in your social media posts and/or share your celebration pictures and stories with Tourism and Sport. Refer to the National Coaches Week Participation Guide to access graphic tools and plan your own NCW events and activities.
